The vessel is in fair condition in need of minor repairs and cosmetics. She could use updating in some of her systems but is this not always the case in used boats? I have owned and sailed extensively this vessel for 17 yrs(3rd owner). I would not hesitate to take her anywhere with the proper preparation. She is seaworthy and fast(6 to8.5 knots). Her underbody is shaped such that I have never had a problem getting off a grounding. Starting at the forefoot, she has a 9000lb cast iron keel which runs at an angle to the rudder post. This is a great feature as there are no flat spots to land on in a grounding. She simply pivots on the spot touching and slides back to where she came . The price reflects my desire to sale her quickly and not her value. she is worth more than the 55000 being asked. She has a holding tank as well as other things not listed here. The spars are aluminum(ketch rig) Large inventory of sails(most in great condition) 80 hp Perkins 4-236 (3/4 gal hr approx) Teak decks are gone... 60 gal. fuel 200 gal fresh water Self tailing primary winches Robertson Auto pilot cold plate refrigeration(needs work) 45lb CQR 60 lb storm anchor Lots of extra gear and parts I hope this helps.
